Viral video: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow to mark the birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A video was circulating all over social media in which people were seen stealing flowerpots after the event. Now, another video has emerged, which is nowhere close to the previous one. The latest video shows some men fighting with each other, allegedly over a dispute surrounding samosas, the refreshments at the event. The video has sparked a debate online.
The recent video shows that three men were attacking a man in the crowd. Later, the man is seen falling on the chairs, getting punched and kicked. The video’s sound clearly highlights that PM Modi was addressing the public gathering at the event.

The video was shared online with the caption, “One Nation One Samosa. Just watched this Chaotic Video from a Modi event in Lucknow – ardent supporters throwing punches allegedly over Samosas!”
The social media users became all humorous and creative with their comments. Some users highlighted the absence of civic sense of people and questioned the management. An X user commented, “How unfortunate!”
Another video from the same event surfaced online a day ago, which showed that people were stealing flowerpots after the event concluded. An official from the Lucknow Development Authority’s horticulture department added that over 4,000 flowerpots were stolen by people.
An X user shared the video with the caption, “Not an uncommon sight in India and explains why municipalities remove flower pots once events end. Ironically, those stealing them are usually not poor but from economically sound households.”
