After the PM’s tweet, various hashtags such as #NoSir, #IWillAlsoLeaveTwitter and #NoModiNoTwitter trended on the social media platform. The Prime Minister has so far not given any reason or explanation regarding his decision to quit social media. However, his supporters flooded the social media platform with their earnest requests to PM Modi to “drop the idea”.
