Amazon’s latest ad with the tagline ‘Aur Dikhao’ has hit the trends among Twitter users hugely. The ad which captures the essence of India and its citizens has received great praise from everywhere. While many brands struggle to showcase the real pulse of Indians in their short ad commercials, this video has captured the crowd’s sentiment rightly. From husbands who cheat on a diet to cricket freaks to the food sharing culture, Amazon had captured everything in a nutshell.
Aur Dikhao also captures the fact that the Indian customer is never satisfied with the varying choices and endless products. So keeping in mind the huge collection Indians would like to shop from, the American company talks about the two crore products they have for their customers on their India website Amazon.in.
The two-minute Amazon ad film is directed by Shimit Amin of Chak De! India fame, with music score by Ram Sampat (Delhi Belly) and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya (Dev.D, 2 States). Amazon introduced itself to Indians in 2013 and has since seen a steady growth, competing with local e-commerce giants like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Jabongg, Myntra and so on. Also, Xiaomi smartphones which were exclusively available on Flipkart are now available on Amazon to add to their two crore products. (Edited by Shweta Parande)
