Looks like the tide has turned from being pro-AIB Knockout to anti-AIB Knockout now, after the first ever ‘Roast’ by stand-up comedy and viral videos group All India Backchod ended up in a mess. The live event, titled AIB Knockout: The Roast of Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh conducted by Roastmaster Karan Johar, was a big viral hit on the day the recorded version of the show was uploaded on YouTube. But what became of it soon was a controversy over its sexual jibes and gestures, and FIRs and PILs followed.
All this while, when many celebs including Salman Khan, and media organisations like India.com took a firm stand against this kind of ‘Bakchodi’, the ones who were trolling protesters were fans of AIB, and also the celebs who were part of the event. (Some of the media clan supported us though)
But now, a fan of AIB itself has gone anti-AIB Knockout, and come out with his own roast of AIB! It is a must watch video that has the guy commenting in almost roast style on the participants of the AIB Knockout. The man calls Ranveer Singh a pervert, and Karan Johar – a beta version of Sooraj Barjatya! He takes a jibe at Arjun Kapoor also, and says Raghu Ram was kicked on his ass and thrown out of Roadies. And what we like is that he agrees with India.com‘s story that Deepika Padukone should not have laughed over the cleavage controversy.
Not only that, the AIB fan calls the AIB Knockout a ‘non-veg version of Filmfare (Awards)’! We kinda agree with that! The question is, can the AIB take this roast of them? Catch the must watch video in the player below!
