Former Times Now anchor Arnab Goswami who is popularly known for his ‘Nation Wants to Know’ question finally managed to maintain silence for 40 seconds. Yes, you read it right. We are not kidding and neither is this any sarcasm. Arnab Goswami really remained silent for 40 seconds and Twitter cannot believe it either. Along with Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, they posed for the mannequin challenge and nailed it.

Arnab was always unpopularly known for being the only one to talk on his show despite being with experts, politicians, etc. That is how he received the tag of being the loud person. However, he quit Times Now and is now planning to launch his new venture called Republic. Anupam Kher met Arnab Goswami and the duo decided to do the mannequin challenge. And you know what happened next? Arnab actually went silent for 40 seconds not batting an eyelid. Kher took to Twitter saying, “Anything Is Possible’!!! And Twitter, as usual, had a great time with some funny reactions to the mannequin challenge. With some thanked Kher for keeping Goswami quiet others thought Arnab should be awarded for taking such a risk. While some Twitterati couldn’t stop laughing at the challenge and thought Arnab was just preparing for another argument in those 40 seconds. Here are some of the hilarious tweets:

As per reports, Arnab’s Republic was to go live on January 26 before the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. It was also said that Republic will be a global media venture, “parallel to the BBC and CNN.” Reportedly, Republic would be primarily based in Mumbai while media owner would be based out of Bengaluru.
