Along with launching the Apple iPhone SE, Apple also launched the latest Apple iPad Pro, 9.7 inches. Well, no one is giving Apple marks for creativity here but then, they just decided to go with the flow and not really bother with trying to come up with a name. As the name clearly suggests, the iPad Pro 9.7 is a 9.7-inches tablet, the size decided by Apple on the basis of it being the most sought after screen size in their range of iPads. The size is the same as that of the iPad Air 2. The iPad Pro weighs less than 1 pound and is quite a heavy-weight device in terms of features. Just like the iPhone SE, Apple is putting stock in the statement – smaller is better with the iPad Pro 9.7 too!

More than the specifications, Apple focused on the features of the iPad Pro 9.7. The display is a new experiment by Apple where the screen is 25 percent brighter and 40 percent less reflective than the iPad Air 2, making the iPad Pro 9.7 the least reflective tablet in it’s class. The new feature called True Tone Display helps the ambient light sensor adjust the tone of the display – meaning you get sharper whites in colder tones and warmer colours when you are in yellow of warm light. it makes the change on its own to help you read better. Also, the light sensor changes to warmer tones at night to help you sleep better.

Apple iPad Pro 9.7 comes with the all new iOS 9.3 and is powered by the A9X processor that also powers the elder brother the original iPad Pro. The iPad Pro 9.7 also has a 4-speaker system which is louder and better than the larger brother. Another improvement Apple has made in the iPad Pro 9.7 is in terms of camera. The tablet comes with a 12MP rear end camera and also supports live photos. The tablet also comes with a dual-tone flash making it one of the first Apple tablets to give equal importance to the camera too.
The iPad Pro 9.7 will come in a plethora of internal memory options – right from 32GB to 256GB! The 32GB version is priced at $599, 128GB version (yupps, there’s nothing between them!) is priced at $749 and the most top of the line 256 GB version is priced at $899. All the variants will be available in 2 options: WiFi only and WiFi plus LTE (with the LTE versions costing considerably more). The iPad Pro 9.7 will be availabe in 4 colours: Rose Gold, Gold, Black and Grey. The iPad Pro 9.7 will be available starting March 30th in the USA with prorders beginning on March 24th.
