Apple CEO Tim Cook is most probably going to announce a new line of Apple iPhones but according to recent rumours, that may not be the biggest announcement of the event. Yes, it is a surprise if there is a hidden project that has been well guarded from being leaked out to be presented to the world tomorrow.
What it could possibly be is the bigger iPad that could be Apple’s version of the Surface Tablet. We don’t expect it to be huge enough that it needs a table to display the contents but it could very likely be the showstopper of the event. We must insist that all this is just speculation at the moment and we will know most definitely while the event pans out.
iPad sales have taken a hit progressively for over 18 months and Apple will aim to change that negative trend to turn the graph around. Tablets in general have taken a hit but Apple is not a general customer and the iPad sales will need a rejuvenation which a new and radical iPad will do for sales.
