Argentina beats Paraguay 6-1 — Watch Lionel Messi and co destroy the very notion of defending!

Lionel Messi was simply sensational against Paraguay as Argentina tore apart the defence with some crisp passing.

There are times when I stick up for Cristiano Ronaldo in the Messi vs Ronaldo debate, but then Lionel Messi goes and does things that don’t even seem human! Messi might not have scored but at times he was operating at a level that belied belief! When it was all said and done Argentina had scored six times and will face Chile in the final of the 2015 Copa America.

While Lionel Messi didn’t score, he did provide three assists for his teammates. Manchester United’s Marcos Rojo started the scoring before Pastore added a second. Paraguay pulled one back but Argentina simply ripped apart Paraguay as Di Maria scored a brace, while Sergio Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain also got on the score-sheet. The build-up for the fourth goal was particularly fascinating when Lionel Messi actually made two defenders bang into each other before setting up the goal.
