Arvind Kejriwal live-tweeted his detention outside Lady Hardinge Hospital

Arvind Kejriwal is a tech-savvy politician and we all know his fondness for social media especially Twitter. He tweets and retweets his opinions on almost everything that he considers relevant to him. Kejriwal’s twitter timeline is full of his movie reviews and his messages to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On Novemeber 2 2016, he went to meet the family of ex-serviceman Ram Kishan Grewal who had committed suicide over the One Rank One Pension scheme. However, he was detained by the Delhi Police and was not allowed to meet the family members. He was detained in his car for hours outside Lady Hardinge Hospital and afterwards was taken to the RK Puram Police Station where he was let go at around midnight.
But you know what, his followers didn’t have to switch on the television or read online to know about his whereabouts or the happenings as he was busy live tweeting the events. He tweeted right from the time he reached the hospital to the time Deputy CM Manish Sisodia arrived, he tweeted almost everything. He even refuted and quoted a report which stated that he is being asked to leave but he refused, he corrected it by saying, “This is completely false. I have been asked to stay back.” He also couldn’t help but attack the PM and said, “Narendra Modi, Sainik Virodhi”.
