Who were Baba Vanga and Nostradamus, and why are their predictions famous?

The French mystic Michel de Nostredame, better known as Nostradamus,  was a seer who lived between 1503 and 1566; he gained notoriety from his book titled ” Les Prophéties,” published by him in 1555. Nostradamus predicted many things, including the nuclear bombings of Japan in 1945.

On the other hand, Baba Vanga, a blind Bulgarian seer, was born in 1911 and lived until 1996; her predictions continue to have an impact on people today, even many years after her passing.
