Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu-starrer Badla hits the big screens today, March 8 – on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2019. Taapsee makes a striking appearance as Big B dons a convincing look. Taapsee plays the role of Naina, who has been accused of killing the man she was having an affair with. Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of a defence lawyer Badal Gupta who holds the record of not having lost a single case in his 40-year-old career, is Naina’s only hope. Needless to say, the buzz is very much there and after the round of reviews by celebrities and twitterati, it has only taken off.

Badla is an official Hindi remake of the Spanish film, The Invisible Guest. The movie is being co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and directed by Sujoy Ghosh.

Big B and Taapsee were last shared screen space in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s National Award-winning film Pink (2016) which was also directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Badla is touted to be a revenge thriller.
