United States President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama dance the tango with professional during the State Dinner at the Centro Cultural Kirchner on Wednesday in Bueonos Aires in Argentina. Obama matched steps with the female dancer in a shimmering gold dress who beckoned him to the floor. Although Obama declined to dance in the beginning, he accepted the offer after being requested multiple times. While dancer Mora Godoy danced with Obama, his wife First Lady Michelle Obama matched steps with dancer Jose Lugones. However, soon after Obama was on floor, he got into action and eventually got the steps right. Michelle Obama also tried a few steps with the male dancer. The unexpected dance moment was at the end of a candlelit dinner hosted for the Obamas. It is almost 20 years since a US president made a formal visit to Argentina. Obama was honored at a state dinner in Argentina by President Mauricio Macri. Obama also said that the meeting “is a new beginning” between the United States and Argentina. Macri in reply said that Argentina recognizes Obama’s visit as a gesture of friendship.
