After Bigg Boss received its popularity in the mainstream space it was only natural for the channel to tap the growing regional audience.  This show has been popular for its host Salman Khan, controversies and tasks that are followed closely by its fans. The regional versions are currently available in Kannada, Tamil, Telegu and now in Marathi. Bigg Boss Marathi is based on the Big Brother format which has been developed by Endemol. The new show featuring Mahesh Majrekar as the host will have 15 celebrity participants from the Marathi film industry and live in the Bigg Boss house. This year the Bigg Boss house has been revealed to have a classic Marathi feel and the contestants have been welcomes with great fanfare.
