New Delhi: Dubai is all set to amaze the world with another marvel of engineering and architecture after Burj Khalifa. Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has announced that the world’s tallest well-being resort, “Therme Dubai,” will be built in Zabeel Park. According to the reports, the resort will stand at a height of 100 meters and is planned to open by 2028.
Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan said, “This project reflects our commitment to enhancing urban biodiversity and environmental sustainability. It will provide a rich experience for both Dubai’s residents and tourists.”

According to a report by Khaleej Times, the government is investing 2 billion dirhams (47 billion rupees) in the development of this new landmark.
The resort will cover an area of 500,000 square feet and will feature three main sections focused on resting, restoration, and entertainment.
This project will include the world’s largest indoor botanical garden, expected to attract 1.7 million visitors annually.
This project is being developed under the ‘Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033.’
The ‘Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033’ aims to make Dubai the best city in the world to live in.
Under this strategy, Dubai is planned to become a pedestrian-friendly, environmentally sustainable, and family-friendly city.
The plan includes developing more than 200 new parks, increasing cycling tracks on beaches by 300%, and extending the length of beaches for nighttime swimming by 60%.
Recently, the Dubai Municipality announced that 216,500 new trees have been planted in the city in 2024, which is 17% more than in 2023. This means an average of 600 new trees have been planted every day. It will be part of an interactive park, offering a unique experience to both Dubai residents and tourists.
