Pulitzer Prize-winning To Kill a Mocking Bird sold 40 million copies worldwide since 1960 and made her a household name. The movie that followed two years later was also a classic work of art. The story revolved around racism, narrow mindedness and crushing poverty during the depression. All this was told by a 6-year-old.
