Christmas 2016 is just two weeks away, and we are already feeling there is a nip in the air! Living in the coastal area of Mumbai, it is usual the months of December and January that are the coldest. But no snow here, unlike some parts of north India or around the globe during this month of celebration. But so what? We still celebrate Christmas with the same fervour and festivity like any of our western counterparts. We decorate the house, and especially the Christmas tree, and keep stockings to see what Santa will gift us this year! We make sweets and gift presents to friends, family and colleagues. We attend mass and sing Christmas carols.
