The new trailer of Despicable Me 3 springs a new surprise at the audience. It introduces the twin brother of Gru- Dru who lives in a castle and has blond hair. The new trailer opens up to Gru being poverty stricken after his failed attempt to stop Balthazar Bratt from bringing his plan to fruition. Agnes is shown selling her prized unicorn to earn some money for Gru since he is jobless. The trailer takes on a different turn when a butler appears on the scene saying, “I really must have a word with you on behalf of your twin brother Dru.” Gru, who is shocked, replies: “Twin brother?!” The teaser switches to Gru taking a flight to visit his twin brother and yelling, “I can’t wait to meet my brother!” At the end of the teaser it is revealed that Dru lives in a huge mansion and their family was always known for its criminal activities. The trailer also shows that the lovable Minions are no longer interested in a leading a righteous life and are urging Gru to embark on his criminal life once again. Dru tries to engage Gru in one last heist.

The first trailer of Despicable Me 3 introduced the audiences to the villain Balthazar Bratt. Balthazar Bratt was the 80s obsessed former child star who turned to a career of being a villain. He was shown grooving to Michael Jackson’s song and doing a moonwalk and wearing shoulder pads. Balthazar Bratt was a former child star who is obsessed with the character he played during the Reagan years. He proves to be the most formidable nemesis till date of Gru.
