According to a source close to the show said that the actress “Disha has not been shooting for the show for quite some time now. The reason behind her sudden absence from the show is because the actress is expecting her first child.” But now we have bad news for Disha’s fans. According to the reports, it is said that actress Disha Vakani, who plays the character of Daya Ben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma has taken a break from her hectic shooting schedule. It is also said that Disha might even leave the show. Well, this is a sad news for all her fans who watch the show for her comedy performance.

The actress is on a maternity break and according to a source further told DNA that, “Yes, Disha is pregnant and the team including the writers are working out a way in which they can give her a leave of few months. In case she’s needed, she can just do a few scenes and leave. Disha and the makers have already discussed it and they are in no mood to replace her as they feel that she’s integral to the show. So they are getting a solution which helps both the show and the actress.” Disha Vakani aka Dayaben of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is pregnant!
