Mumbai, April 27: Yet another extremely low cost smartphone named ‘Docoss X1’ by Jaipur-based company Docoss has been launched in the Indian market. The Docoss X1 is priced at Rs 888 only and the Android smartphone on their official website. The Docoss X1 smartphone can be booked online on as well as via SMS. The online booking of Docosss X1 will be open till 10 PM April 29. Before Docoss X1, it was Freedom 251 that has got great response from customers. Freedom 251, priced at Rs 251, was designed by Noida-based Ringing Bells. The company has received 30,000 orders within few hours on the first day of its online sale. However the Freedom 251 grabbed the eyeballs because of its low price, it also offered all the primary specifications that a buyer gets in a smartphone that costs Rs 5000. Display: While the Freedom 251 comes with a 4-inch qHD display, the Docoss X1 has 4-inch IPS screen. Freedom 251 can stream high quality High Definition video and graphics with crystal clear view points, but the Docoss doesn’t have this feature.

Software: Freedom 251 is powered by a Qualcomm 1.3-GHz quad-core processor. Similarly, Docoss X1 has 1.3 GHz Dual core Cortex A7 processor. While the Docoss smartphone runs on Android Kitkat Operating System, the Freedom 251 runs on updated version- Android 5.1 (i.e. Android Lollipop).

Camera: Freedom 251 features a 3.2 MP Rear camera and a 0.3 MP front camera. On the other hand, Docoss X1 has 2 MP rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. So don’t expect much from cameras.

Other specifications: Both Freedom 251 and Docoss X1 has 1 GB RAM, which can give smartphones moderate speed while processing. While the Freedom 251 has 8GB internal memory, expandable up to 32GB, the Docoss device has 4GB internal memory, expandable up to 32GB. The Freedom 251 is backed by a 1,450mAh battery and Docoss X1 1300 mAh battery.

However the Docoss X1 was not available for use to give better review of the smartphone, but going by the above comparison, the smartphone is not better than Freedom 251 or other low cost smartphones. The smartphone might have impressed you due to its low price, but remember performance also matters. Unfortunately, Freedom 251 never reached in the hands of users.
