Dr Subhash Chandra on his show Dr Subhash Chandra Show addressed about 450 students of Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad. The topic he chose for MBA students was whether they should take up a job with a start-up venture or a big player in the industry. He also spoke about how a start-up company gives their employees a chance to grow by exploring their strengths in different fields. However, established companies follow a process for work and hence, employees may not be able to explore another field in the same organisation. Dr Chandra also talks about a book he read titled First Break All the Rules, which says that there are three important things in a person – knowledge, talent and experience. Of the three, knowledge can be transferred, experience can be acquired but talent can neither be transferred nor acquired. So, working on polishing one’s talent is an important thing people must focus on. While interacting with students and businessmen, Dr Chandra also said that one must love the job that they are doing, or else it could prove to be a problem.
