On Friday, colours of Indian national flag dominated the cityscapes of the UAE. Yes, iconic buildings of the UAE including the tallest building in the world- Burj Khalifa, ADNOC Headquarters and Dubai Frame were lit up in colors of Indian tri-colour to welcome Prime minister Narendra Modi. Navdeep Suri who is the Ambassador of India to the UAE took to Twitter to post beautiful images of the buildings. ” On the eve of the visit of PM @narendramodi to UAE, Abu Dhabi’s iconic ADNOC building in Abu Dhabi and Emirates Palace are adorned with colours of the Indian tricolour @IndianDiplomacy @MEAIndia, ” he wrote on Twitter.
As per reports, PM Modi will reach Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE and there he will be given a ceremonial reception before meeting the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi- Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This is PM Modi’s second visit to the UAE after August 2015. The Prime Minister will also hold discussions with Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.

Several agreements in the areas like finance and skills development are likely to be signed. Modi is scheduled to interact with Arab CEOs to discuss economic opportunities in India. “At the invitation of the leadership of the UAE, I will be addressing the 6th edition of the World Government Summit in Dubai where India is the guest country of honour,” Modi told media. He will also visit Dubai on Sunday before travelling to Oman.
