On the special occasion of Ramzan, a UK-based Sikh NGO is giving away more than 5,000 packets of food to Syrian refugees who have been uprooted due to the conflict in the region and are living in Lebanon and Iraq.
Khalsa Aid is a humanitarian initiative and they definitely put a smile on a lot of young faces by giving away shoes and clothes to 500 Syrian refugee children.

Ramzan is observed over the whole month and all the devotees fast and pray intensely every day which end with the celebrations of Eid-ul-Fitr. On the occasion of the festival, people celebrate by exchanging gifts, enjoy scrumptious meals and praying.
As per a statement on Facebook, “These children were forced to leave their homes when war broke out in Mosul in 2014. The city has been left devastated. These clothes will be the only gifts many of these children will receive this Eid while suffering difficult conditions of a refugee camp.”
