Godwoman Radhe Maa has made a generous contribution to the PM-CARES Fund and joined India’s fight against the coronavirus. The controversial godwoman reportedly donated an amount of Rs 10 lakh to the Prime Minister’s fund and also urged all to follow the protocols of the nationwide lockdown to curb the growing infection of COVID-19. The contribution has been made through Radhe Maa’s Delhi-based organisation Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable Trust. The donation was made to also mark her birthday which is on Saturday, April 4. Originally named Sukhvinder Kaur, Radhe Maa is a self-styled godwoman who believes that she is a reincarnation of Goddess Radha. Radhe Maa has studied till Class IV and many Bollywood actors and filmmakers are known to be her followers including veteran director Subhash Ghai who was even clicked by the photographers while visiting Radhe Maa to seek her blessings. Donations are coming from all across the country to assist the government and other civic bodies in fighting the coronavirus aggressively. Several prominent Bollywood celebrities have contributed their bit to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. While Akshay Kumar has donated Rs 25 crore, Rajinikanth, Pawan Kalyan, Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Ram Charan, Prabhas and Shilpa Shetty among others have also made generous donations. So far, the deadly COVID-19 has taken over 70 lives in India with over 2500 confirmed cases so far. The fight is even more challenging at the worldwide level where over 10 lakh people are infected with the virus and more than 58,000 have lost their lives.
