Google Maps Added A New Mini-Game ‘Where’s Waldo’ On April Fool’s Day
Google Maps introduced a new game 'Where's Waldo?' and it is all about fun.
Google never forget to surprise us! On April 1, 2018, they have added a new mini-game ‘Where’s Waldo?’ on Google Maps. And today the whole world is celebrating April Fools’ Day. So, today if anyone uses Google Maps or on the following week, they will get to play Where’s Waldo. This game is all about fun, but at the same time, it is a new found way of Google’s marketing. The company is currently pushing its Google Assistant feature. The feature is available on Google Home, Android devices, Desktops and others. So, Google is using the Where’s Waldo game to promote the new product where people will ask the Google Assistant where is Waldo and it will tell you to look into the maps. It might also ask you to update the app.
According to the Inc.com, when you will look into the map you will get to see Waldo pops out on the side of your Maps. He seems to be wearing a red and white strips t-shirt, smiling and waving at you. And from there by clicking on him you can start playing the game. Along with him, he has got his friends Woof, Wenda, Odlaw, Wenda and Whitebread. And for the whole week, you have to find them on the Google Maps. In less than a month, this is the second time that Google has incorporated a beloved brand into its Maps for a limited time. On March 10, in honour of ‘Mario Day’ Google Maps introduced a feature that allowed users to generate a Super Mario model on a go-kart. Now this time Google Maps is encouraging players to share their Waldo finding experience on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag ‘WaldoMaps’.
