The latest update on the Gurdaspur Terror Attack says that the toll has increased to 12 people. Four terrorists attacked the Dinanagar town in Gurdaspur district, dressed in Army uniform, at 5.30 am on July 27. They opened fire at a bus station, and later at a police station in the town. The Indian Army has been called to counter the terrorists holding the police station under siege. At least 12 persons, including three civilians, seven policemen and home guards, and two convicts inside the police lock-up are reported to have been killed. The Dinanagar town was apparently attacked as it is close to the Jammu and Kashmir border and Pakistan.
