The ‘Sonu Song’ that went viral after RJ Malishka used it to criticize BMC has found a new object of affection. The song at that time was used by a number of stand-up comedians to lend support to Malishka’s battle against the BMC. However, now the song is going viral for another reason altogether. This time a number of YouTubers have released parodies of the Sonu Song on Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan. The Dera Sacha Sauda chief who was convicted as a rapist and was sentenced to imprisonment has now a number of song parodies on him. People across Haryana and Punjab have taken to sharing their version of the song targeting the convicted Baba. Even Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar could not escape the parodies. Also Read - Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, 4 Others Get Life Imprisonment in Ranjit Singh Murder Case
The songs have a similar theme of calling out Ram Rahim Singh Insan for making a fool of his followers and for his sexual tendencies and illegal activities that used to take place in his Dera. The Sonu Song which has become a popular tool for protest has been used very effectively to educate his followers who were blinded by Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s sheen and who never listened to the reason of not following such self-proclaimed godman.
