And some of us, we have the opportunity to sit back, relax and relive the memories that we have safely kept in the back of our mind. Whether it is the memory of learning to ride your first bike with your father holding the back or the time when he fed you the mandatory glass of milk accompanied by the most thrilling stories, daddy times are undoubtedly the most cherished memories for every child that has played a role in shaping our values. So maybe its time to look back at the lessons that made you cherish punctuality or taught you the simple lesson to never give up. My dad always taught me a simple phrase that has become a motto that drives me every single day, “I can, I must, I will; because I believe.” As we celebrate this international holiday in the name of the anchors of our lives who stood like a rock solid support, let us look back and share all those incredibly valuable thoughts and lessons that make us who we are today. It is the time that we made Father’s Day a cherishable day to spread the character building stories that our dads tried to instill in us and make this day count. Because even if you cannot take that selfie that validates your celebration, you can always spread the knowledge and the positive attitudes that your father valued so much.
