It’s Holi time and the entire country is celebrating it with great zeal and enthusiasm. And coming to celebrations Bollywood cannot be left behind. Celebrities took to Twitter to wish their fans “Happy and safe Holi”. From Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh to Preity Zinta, everyone shared Holi selfies and wished the festival of colors on social media. Several Bollywood stars like Saif Ali Khan, Vidya Balan urged fans to celebrate the festival in a safe and eco-friendly manner. Some of them also tweeted Holi videos on social media. Some stars also celebrated their childhood pictures on social media. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan who given popular Holi songs like Rang Barse from Silsila and also Holi Ke Din from Sholay took to Twitter to advise his fans for a Happy Holi. Priyanka Chopra who is celebrating her second Holi away from home also wished her fans. PeeCee is currently shooting for the second season of American television show Quantico.
Preity Zinta shared a picture immersed in colors with her husband Gene Goodenough. While, Ileana D’Cruz shared a video on Instagram with Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Athiya Shetty wishing fans Holi. Meanwhile, Neetu Kapoor shared an adorable picture of Ranbir Kapoor and her daughter Riddhima from their childhood. Abhishek Bachchan also posted an image of Holika on Instagram with a caption reading, “May the Holika burn away all your sorrows and evils. #happyholi(sic).” While, Anushka Sharma shared a social message for the celebrations on Holi. She posted an image of her as Shashi from her upcoming movie Pullauri urging fans not to color animals during the celebrations.
