Delhi Metro Viral Video:  The Delhi Metro has once again found itself in the spotlight, this time due to a viral video showcasing two girls dancing to the popular Bollywood song ‘Ang Laga De’ inside a metro train. The video, which has been widely circulated on social media, was filmed by a fellow passenger, shows the girls indulging in what has been described as a ‘seductive’ performance between Majlis Park and Shiv Vihar stations. In the video, two girls dressed in white saree and suit can be seen applying colors to each other while there is a lot of gulal placed on a piece of cloth in front of them. In the  background of the video, the famous song “Ang Laga De Re, Mohe Rang Laga De Re” from the 2013 movie ‘Ramleela’, featuring Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Singh, is playing.

The “performance” escalated when the girls started applying colors by rubbing their faces to eachother. It became even more awkward as they engaged in actions like pretending to sleep on each other and attempting to kiss.

Internet reacts to the viral video

After the video started doing rounds on social media platforms, people were quick to give their reaction on it. A user with the name shriramsena said, “Chappal se marna chahiye” Another user name Sandeep says “These chapris should be blacklisted for travelling in Metro once caught doing these things, like they do in flights.  Ashish Sutar, another user, wrote, “Are they applying colors or indulging in indecent acts?”
While some tagged Delhi Police, DMRC to look into the matter and take action against the two girls.

Another commenter suggested, “Delhi Metro should fine these cringy people. Metro or any public place is NOT for their cringe videos.”

This is not the first time that such an incident has been reported in Delhi metro, as videos depicting activities such as pole dancing, masturbation, and oral sex inside the metro train have also surfaced in the past. Despite the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation’s (DMRC) efforts to monitor and enforce strict guidelines, instances of obscenity and unruly behavior persist. While the DMRC consistently urges passengers to refrain from such indecent behavior, some individuals remain unwilling to comply.
