The bike is expected to get an aggressive price to start off as an excellent option going up against the Suzuki Gixxer 155. The newest Honda motorcycle features a halogen front headlight, single rod suspension which gets some elevation, plastic cowls on the sides and a short exhaust similar to the Yamaha FZ. The Honda CB Hornet 160R has split grab tails along with a macho fuel tank covered with a matte carbon fibre coating. Another key distinguishing factor to identify the bike is the tail light LED which is shaped like an X. The engine comes from the trusted Honda CB Unicorn 160 which is powered by a 4-stroke, single cylinder 163.71 cc engine. The air-cooled engine produces a maximum of 14.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm with peak torque figures of 14.61 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The instrument cluster is carried forward from the Honda CB Unicorn 160.
