Huawei created a record for being the first tier 1 brand to incorporate dual camera feature in their smartphones before great players like Samsung and Apple among others in 2017 and now the latest reports indicate that Huawei is all set to create another record for incorporating triple camera set up. The Chinese phone maker recently announced the Mate 10 Pro in January and now the company is now prepping up to launch another flagship smartphones at a Paris event on March 27. Three new devices: P20, P20 Lite and P20 plus will be launched in the event. Reportedly Huawei P20 and P20 plus will have not one or two but three Leica-branded rear cameras.
Yes, soon the Huawei smartphone may become first ever phone to feature triple lens in the rear camera system. The rumors started off when the event’s invite had a recurrence of the “OOO” motif.As per reports, P20 and P20 plus will have triple camera feature whereas the Lite variant will have a dual camera set up. There are no reports on how Huawei will use the third camera. The images of the cellphone got leaked few days and the images are now doing rounds on the internet.

Apart from this feature, the leaks also claim that the triple camera system may have 40-megapixel stills at 5x zoom. So the third camera could be used for multiple zoom levels. Other specifications of the P series devices are a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C and 3.5 mm jack. Reportedly the mobile will have a 5.8-inch display and the quality will be similar to that of iPhone X. The storage capacities will be 4GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage.
