Virat Kohli’s men in blue just drew the ongoing series against Australia at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. They won the match by 75 runs. They leveled the 4-match series with India and Australia each winning a match. KL Rahul who was playing at his home ground was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 90 in the first innings and a gritty 51 in the second. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja picked up their 25th and 6th five-wicket haul respectively. Team India not always had the match in their possession and it was a tightly fought Test match reminiscent of an ODI. The match was also significant because of the DRS debate (Decision Review System) and the fact that Virat Kohli Indian team’s captain had informed the umpires and the referee about Aussie players looking to their pavilion for DRS reviews.
However, nothing could bog down the Indian cricketing side and they made sure that they give the hosts no reasons for cheer when they won the match with their grit and determination. As the match was played Twitter was abuzz with tweets that were applauding and motivating team India. Many former players took to Twitter to wish Team India on their scintillating performance.
