Hollywood actor Harrison Ford was born on July 13, 1942, in Chicago, USA. He turns 72 today. Ford was a carpenter by profession and became famous in the movies with the Star Wars and Indiana Jones series. He also starred in important films like Blade Runner, Patriot Games, Apocalypse Now, Witness, The Fugitive, Air Force One, The Mosquito Coast, What Lies Beneath and The Expendables 3, to name a few.

He was nominated as Best Actor several times at various award shows including the Oscar, Golden Globes and BAFTA and also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Ford has been married thrice. His first wife was Mary Marquardt between 1964-1979. He was married to Melissa Mathison between 1983-2004. His third wife is Ally McBeal actress Calista Flockhart (2010 onwards). Ford has two children each from his previous wives. Flockhart and Ford have an adopted son.
