Indira Gandhi was an exceptional leader, even though many of her decisions received flak and controversy from the public as well as the opposition but it can’t be overlooked that she was a born leader. She was a woman of substance who got things done and did not let other people overpower her. It is only fitting that she shares her birth anniversary with another indomitable woman fighter Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi.
