Isha Ambani, the daughter of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, married businessman Anand Piramal in 2018. Their wedding, held at Antilia—the Ambani family’s famous residence—was a grand event. As part of their wedding gifts, Anand Piramal’s parents, Swati and Ajay Piramal, gifted the couple a magnificent mansion named Gulita. It’s a 50,000 sq ft, five-story luxurious diamond-themed bungalow in the Worli neighborhood. This stunning seafront property quickly became the talk of the town.
Gulita is located in Worli, one of Mumbai’s most expensive neighborhoods. The 50,000-square-foot mansion is designed with a unique diamond theme and offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. The home was designed by Eckersley O’Callaghan, a well-known London-based architectural firm.

According to Reuters, the house underwent major renovations and upgrades before Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding. One of its most distinctive features is three glazed steel “palm tree” structures, the tallest standing 11 meters high, designed using advanced 3D modeling software.
The mansion has a total of five floors and three basements. The second and third basements are dedicated to services and parking, while the first basement features a flower garden/lawn area, an outdoor water body, and double-height multipurpose spaces. These additions make Gulita one of the most recognizable and luxurious residences in Mumbai.
The five-story luxury home is packed with high-end amenities, including:
Gulita also has three basements, two of which are dedicated to parking and other facilities.
The property was earlier used to house a training centre and private residences of senior executives of Unilever’s Indian arm. The house was purchased from Hindustan Unilever by the Piramal family at auction in 2012 for USD 61.2 million (around Rs 500 crore). The Piramal family began refurbishing the residence in 2015. The big property received an occupancy certificate from the Mumbai Municipal Corporation- Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in September 2018 after the renovations were finished.
The value of the property skyrocketed over time. As per NoBroker.com, the current estimated worth of Gulita is around USD 100 million (approximately Rs 818 crore).
The luxurious mansion is home to Isha Ambani, Anand Piramal, and their two children.
With its stunning location, world-class design, and extravagant amenities, Gulita stands as a symbol of wealth, luxury, and elegance, making it one of the most expensive private residences in India.
