iPhone SE vs iPhone 6S: Is Apple releasing a mild variant of the premium phone at cheaper price?

Mumbai, Mar 21: Tech giant Apple is set to grab headlines today as it is set to release a number of gadgets. The much-awaited iPhone SE, along with an upgraded Apple Watch and brand new iPad would be unveiled by the California-based firm. Gadget-lovers across the globe are especially anticipating the releases of iPhone SE. Insiders claim that the ‘Special Edition’ phone will put to shame iPhone 6 and its specifications would border with Apple’s top product – 6S.

Although tech pundits had predicted it to be a modest up-gradation of iPhone 5S, what is revealed from Apple Insiders has ended up shocking gadget observers. Many of the specifications of this ‘special edition’ iPhone match with the top-end iPhone 6S. The design, operating system and hardware strength takes more than a clue from 6S. It borders the specifications of latter. Except for the screen size, resolution and display most of features which Apple would provide the consumers in SE are at par with 6S. While a similarity is seen in the specifications of the both the units of iPhone series, one should also consider the price difference between them. iPhone 6S is sold at $650, which roughly converts to Rs 51,000. Whereas, the upcoming iPhone SE is expected to be priced at $450 (Rs 30,298).
