The third opening ceremony of VIVO Indian Premier League 2017 is all set to take place at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. The 24 minutes IPL 10 opening ceremony will see Bollywood young heartthrob Tiger Shroff take on stage at 6.30 pm IST before the start of Gujarat Lions vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) match. The live streaming of VIVO IPL 2017 opening ceremony, one of the eight can be watched on Hotstar online while Sony Max, Sony Six and Sony ESPN will do the live telecast. GL vs KKR is third game as per IPL 2017 match fixtures. The second match held on April 6 saw Rising Pune Supergiant register a thumping seven-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians. Now the third game will see Suresh Raina led Gujarat Lions to take on Gautam Gambhir side Kolkata Knight Riders. The opening ceremony held in Rajkot’s SCA stadium will mark the opening of Gujarat’s home game campaign. Tiger Shroff is the star attraction in the event and knowing the popularity of the Heropanti actor, be rest assured the third IPL 10 opening ceremony is going to be remembered for a long time.

For the first time in the history of Indian Premier League, eight opening ceremonies instead of one before the inaugural match of the season is taking place. The landmark proposal was taken by the organizers and eventually announced by IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla who wished to include more of fans in the celebrations.
