Indian Premier League is all set to complete ten years with VIVO IPL 2017 kick-starting on 5th of April. The first match of IPL 10 is between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore scheduled at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad at 8.00 pm IST. The Indian Premier League 2017 final match will also be hosted by Hyderabad, as announced in the IPL 2017 match fixtures. The 2017 IPL season teams’ rosters and full squad is revealed giving complete details over captains, coaches, mentors, and additional support staff. VIVO IPL 1o is the first edition when former Indian captain, MS Dhoni will be playing as a team member and not as a skipper of the side. He has been replaced by Steven Smith of Australia as Rising Pune Supergiant.

Not just Dhoni, Virat Kohli has been replaced by AB de Villiers as Royal Challengers Bangalore captain due to Indian skipper sustaining an injury. 1. Mumbai Indians

Two-time Indian Premier League title winners, Mumbai Indians will be led by their fearless captain, Rohit Sharma under the guidance from new head coach Mahela Jayawardene. The former Sri Lanka cricketing great joins the MI team in the VIVO IPL 2017. The all-time batting great, Sachin Tendulkar remains the mentor of Mumbai Indians and motivate the side to bag the third IPL trophy. Reliance Industries head Nita Ambani-owned Mumbai Indian boasts of an elaborate support staff in the form of: Robin Singh – Assistant And Batting Coach, Shane Bond – Bowling Coach, Jonty Rhodes – Fielding Coach, Rahul Sanghvi – Team Manager, Paul Chapman – Trainer and Dr Nitin Patel – Physio.

The side will be led by the feisty cricketer, Gautam Gambhir in partnership with level-headed former South African great, Jacques Kallis as head coach for VIVO IPL 2017. The Kolkata Knight Riders administrative and support staff are Simon Katich – Assistant Coach, Lakshmipathy Balaji – Mentor and Bowling Coach, Mark Boucher – Fielding Coach, W. V. Sunrisers Hyderabad has the additional support in the form of former Sri Lankan spin giant, Muttiah Muralitharan as the bowling coach. Delhi is expected to do better with cricketing great and India ‘A’ coach, Rahul Dravid mentoring the unit. Paddy Upton of South Africa is Delhi Daredevils’ head coach. The additional support staffs of DD are Pravin Amre (Assistant Coach), Sriram Sreedharan (Assistant Coach), TA Sekar (Bowling Coach) and Sunil Valson (Team Manager).

Former Australian player Brad Hodge is the Head Coach of the side while former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif is the Assistant Coach of Gujarat Lions. Former Zimbabwe player Heath Streak is the bowling coach, Lakshmi Narayanan is the high-performance analyst, and Saif Hasan is the physiotherapist – form the GL’s support staff.

Apart from removing an extra ‘s’ from the franchise name, RPS administrators also changed their captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and replaced him with Australian skipper, Steven Smith. It has to be seen how much does this step pay in the end for Rising Pune Supergiant because so far, it has only drawn negative criticisms from all quarters. The support staff of RPS comprises of – Stephen Fleming as Head Coach, Hrishikesh Kanitkar as Assistant Coach, Eric Simons as bowling coach and Prasanna Agoram as Performance analyst.

In the absence of the regular skipper, South African player and RCB mainstay, AB de Villiers will take over the captaincy. Veteran New Zealand spinner Daniel Vettori remains the Head Coach while Bharat Arun as Assistant Coach, Trent Woodhill as Batting and fielding coach, Allan Donald as bowling coach and Evan Speechly as Physiotherapist complete the support staff of Royal Challengers Bangalore.

They have got a new captain in the form of the fiery Australian cricketer, Glenn Maxwell who has the capacity to change the course of the match on individual performance. But KXIP needs more than one-person show if they hope to make it further in the tournament. Punjab is under the guidance of former Indian opener, Virender Sehwag who is their head coach. Sehwag needs to teach his lesson how to hit winning shots just like he wins over the netizens on the Twitter. Kings XI Punjab support staff consists of Mithun Manhas as the Assistant Coach, J Arun Kumar as batting coach, R Sridhar as fielding coach, Amit Tyagi as Physiotherapist and Nishant Thakur as the trainer.
