Mahesh Bhatt’s next film Jalebi: The Everlasting Taste of Love’s first poster was out a yesterday and now it has become an everlasting meme on the micro-blogging site Twitter. After Anushka’s Sharma’s Sui Dhaaga meme, the latest joke of the Internet is Jalebi’s poster. Since the time the poster has been revealed, the film has been in the news for copying its poster from iconic Hollywood film titled Korean War Goodbye Kiss. In the poster, the female lead Rhea Chakraborty is seen leaning out of a train window and share a kiss with Varun while two people sitting on the train stare at the couple. Bhatt shared the poster on his Twitter and wrote, “In this changing shifting world where the old stories have collapsed and no new story has yet emerged to replace them comes a story of everlasting love. Here is the #JalebiPoster. @sonymusicindia @Viacom18Movies @VisheshFilms“.

This will be Varun’s debut film and also marks the directorial debut of Pushpdeep Bhardwaj. It also marks the Bollywood debut of TV actor Digangana Suryavanshi, who starred in shows like Qubool Hai, Veera and reality show Bigg Boss.

The film was earlier scheduled to release on August 31 but has now been postponed to October 12.
