Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently took to Twitter to ask F.R.I.E.N.D.S. fame Matthew Perry if he was ready for a rematch of an elementary school fight. On Jimmy Kimmel, Matthew had said that he along with a friend had beaten up Justin while in school in fifth grade. He had said, ” My friend … who was also in the fifth grade in Canada, reminded me that we actually beat up Justin Trudeau. We both beat him up. I think he was excelling in a sport that we weren’t, so it was pure jealousy.” He further said, “I think he was the only kid in school that we could beat up,” Perry, who describes himself as half-Canadian, told Kimmel. “You know, I’m not bragging about this. This is terrible. I was a stupid kid, I didn’t want to beat him up.”
Two weeks after the revelation by Perry, Trudeau took to Twitter to issue a challenge. “I’ve been giving it some thought, and you know what, who hasn’t wanted to punch Chandler? How about a rematch.” Trudeau tweeted asking Perry with the name of his character in the popular series F.R.I.E.N.D.S. After Trudeau’s question, Perry replied saying, “I think I will pass at your request for a rematch kind sir (given that you currently have an army at your disposal).”
Perry’s response was quick to garner attention on the social networking site. He received over 2,600 likes and 800 retweets. Well, with that reply we are not sure what the Canadian Prime Minister has to say. The 47-year-old actor was born and raised in Canada and the two men went to Rockcliffe Park Public school in Canda. These pictures of a young Justin Trudeau are making women drool, one photo at a time!
