When news of Kamaal R Khan making a comeback to Twitter came in, it wasn’t well-received by the netizens. It created a huge uproar on social media where people mourned his return to the microblogging site. The netizens also didn’t take kindly to singer Mika’s tweet, who said that people should forgive KRK and give him another chance. But now, seems like even Twitter doesn’t want KRK to be a part of its userbase. Barely had the hullabaloo over Kamal R Khan’s re-entry on Twitter settled down and KRK’s account has already been suspended! When we tried to click on KRK’s Twitter handle, @KRKActor, Twitter instead displayed the message that the ‘Account has been suspended’.
After his comeback, he has reportedly attacked actors Sushant Singh Rajput, Salman Khan, SRK and the BJP. In his 13 tweets, KRK allegedly accused Amir Khan, Salman Khan and SRK for being directly responsible for the suspension of his old Twitter account. “They can’t stop me from reviewing films to save public from watching their crap films. Better, they should make good films instead to stop me (sic),” he added. In another tweet, he took a dig at SRK’s latest interview and said, “Hopefully Shah Rukh Khan’s career doesn’t get destroyed with his critics. (sic)”. And this time, Twitter was quick to jump in and suspend the account. There is no formal statement given out yet.
KRK’s earlier account was suspended in October this year, when he had reportedly divulged the climax of Aamir Khan’s film Secret Superstar, that had Zaira Wasim play the lead role. In response to this move, KRK had said that he has not abused anyone and Twitter suspended his account without a warning. KRK also said that he would take the matter to court. Following this, in a press statement, he said he is ‘depressed’ about being cheated by Twitter. A press release put up on KRK Box Office read: ‘If they won’t restore my account, I will commit suicide and all these people will be responsible for my death.’
As we all know, this is not the first time KRK has upset people with his tweets. He is known for his controversial tweets that often invite criticism both from the netizens as well as leading members of the entertainment industry. In the past, celebrities including Anurag Kashyap, Ajay Devgn and Karan Johar have been upset with KRK’s tweets. He is also known for passing unsavoury remarks on actresses, like Alia Bhatt and Bipasha Basu on Twitter, and has also offended some filmmakers. Now that KRK’s account has been suspended again, it will be interesting to see how he reacts to this.
