Kangana Ranaut the actor par excellence and a woman who doesn’t shy away from voicing her opinions and calling a spade a spade has done it once again. She has called out Karan Johar on his barb against her while speaking on the sidelines of an event at the London School of Economics. Karan Johar hinted that Kangana Ranaut may have not understood the meaning of the word nepotism and he was fed up of seeing her use the ‘victim card’ and the ‘woman card’. He also said that if Kangana had such a problem with Bollywood she should think about quitting it.
Kangana Ranaut who does not take things lying down gave an exclusive interview to Mumbai Mirror where she once again debunked and unmasked the filmmaker for his chauvinistic and sexist attitude. Karan Johar had applauded Kangana Ranaut for her outspokenness and pandered her on his show Koffee With Karan 5 but then stuck a knife in her back a few weeks later. She was applauded and then derided by him. Mind you, Karan Johar could have gone on the defensive on the show and given some sort of explanation to the treatment that he gave Kangana Ranaut when she joined the industry but he did not do that probably because of the TRPs. He did not even edit the show once again because of the TRP, but now he went ahead and back-stabbed her does not project him in good light. To make matters clear and for the benefit of our readers the meaning of the word ‘nepotism’ is the practice among those with power or influence of favouring relatives or friends, especially by giving them jobs; the exact same statement that Kangana used on the show because it is well known that Karan Johar never ever gives opportunities to outsiders in his films and always chooses actors and actresses with a filmi background and who are related to his friends and family.

It should be noted that AIB in their infamous roast in which Karan Johar gleefully participated in were the first people to call him out. Or this time it hurt him more because the barb was coming from a woman who made it to the top without his helping hand?
