Kangana Ranaut’s Sister Rangoli Chandel Schools Mini Mathur on Twitter, Says Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi Isn’t Like ‘Every’ Film
Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel is on fire
Kangana Ranaut‘s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi got appreciated by both the audience and the critics alike. However, despite the actress’ accusation on Bollywood, not many came out in open to support the film or to talk about its content. Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel has made sure she’s not missing out on any opportunity to prove that Bollywood has behaved hypocritically with Kangana and her film.
She recently took to Twitter and posted a comment asking Mini Mathur why she couldn’t take out time to watch Manikarnika, which was an important period film for every Indian moviegoer. It all started when Mini posted a tweet praising Gully Boy and how she loved the film. A Twitter user asked her in the comment why didn’t she go and watch Manikarnika the way she went out to watch Gully Boy. To which the popular anchor replied in a sarcastic tone that it isn’t her duty to be watching every film. Her statement irked Rangoli who then posted a tweet telling Mini that Manikarnika isn’t ‘every’ film. She wrote in her tweet that it is an important film which talks about the history of India and showcases the valour of one of the most celebrated women warriors in the country – Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi. Here’s how the entire conversation went:
Oh I apologise to you profusely as I haven’t seen that film yet. And as the official national film critic it is my humble duty to write on every film🙏🏻
By the way, how was the experience of making the film? https://t.co/B8cxq0J1Lh— Mini Mathur (@minimathur) February 20, 2019

Earlier, blaming Bollywood for deliberately sidelining her and her work, Kangana said that she had stood up for most people in the film industry while promoting their films while no one from the industry came out to support her during the release of her film. She added that she even cancelled her shoots at times to attend the special screening of someone else’s film. However, the same people never showed their support to her when her own film ran into controversies. Your thoughts on this?
