Kylie Jenner’s Newborn Baby, Stormi, Breaks Beyonce’s Instagram Record of Most-Liked Picture Ever

Barely a few days her birth, reality TV star Kylie Jenner’s baby is already breaking records. The Kardashians have always been known for their massive fan following, both in the real as well as the digital world. Almost every picture posted by the Kardashian sisters go viral and receive a large number of likes and comments from their fans. And the little one follows suit. After finally confirming the birth of her child, Kylie took to Instagram to share the name of her baby – Stormi. This post was accompanied by an adorable picture of the baby holding Kylie’s finger, and has become the most liked picture on Instagram in no time.

On Tuesday night, Kylie announced her newborn daughter’s name, Stormi, with a sweet post on Instagram. She then changed the caption to include her surname, Webster. Webster is her partner, Travis Scott’s real last name. The absolutely adorable picture shows an out of focus snap of Stormi. The baby’s face is not fully visible, but she has wrapped her tiny hand around Kylie’s thumb.The picture has received close to 15 million likes. The number of likes on this post is much more than the time Kylie announced she is pregnant and that she gave birth to her baby on February 1, 2018. That post got about 10.3 million likes.

It might be recalled that Kylie has remained tight-lipped about her pregnancy throughout, and gave an official confirmation only a couple of days after her delivery. The 20-year-old broke the news with an Instagram post and a YouTube video, explaining why she chose to stay away from the limelight and keep her pregnancy a closely guarded secret. ‘I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world,’ said a few lines from her note.

Interestingly, this record was previously held by Beyonce, whose pregnancy announcement on 1 February 2017 had been liked by 11.2 million people. This was before the birth of her and Jay-Z’s twins Rumi and Sir. But Stormi has clearly taken the internet by storm and floored people with her cuteness. Also, Kylie seems to be on the right track to become the most followed Kardashian. Kim is currently the most followed Kardashian with 107 million followers, while Kylie has 103 million followers. The most followed celebrity on Instagram is Selena Gomez, with 132.5 million followers.
