The scene at the airport was surprising, as large numbers of people gathered to catch a glimpse of their favourite footballer in the early hours of Saturday. However, the admirers missed the chance as he was taken through the bank entrance door. After arriving in the private Gulfstream V aircraft, he was spotted in a white-coloured T-shirt, above which he wore a black suit. According to the reports, he checked into room number 730 of the Hyatt Regency, Kolkata. The famous footballer from Argentina has been living in room number 730 of the Hyatt Regency, as per reports. It’s also being circulated that the entire seventh floor of the hotel was sealed for him. The official website of the hotel gave an idea about the pricing of Messi’s room.

It showed that the presidential suite was unavailable for the date December 13, and for the next day, it was priced at Rs. 142,500 per night. It includes great amenities like a kitchenette, an eight-seat dining area, a separate working area, and a separate sitting area.

On the other hand, the cost of the diplomatic suite falls around Rs. 112,500 per night. The hotel has other suites as well, like the Regency Executive Suite and Regency Suite King, costing Rs. 51,000 and Rs. 38,000 per night.

An unusual moment has also come to light in which a Class 9 student, Krish Gupta, along with his family, checked in at the hotel to not miss Messi’s sight. What’s interesting is that he’s a fan of Lionel Messi’s rival, Cristiano Ronaldo. He said, “I’m a die-hard Ronaldo fan, so what? His biggest rival is coming to my city and I cannot miss the moment. So we planned to stay in the hotel a day in advance.”

Krish added, “I just want to tell him to play football with me. And if I’m not successful, I will go to the gym tomorrow morning to catch a glimpse of him. I have my autograph book ready and hopefully I will get a selfie.”

When Messi entered the hotel, the fans started shouting, “Messi! Messi!” in the lobby area.
