A Madhya Pradesh man named Junaid Khan sealed his love by marrying his girlfriend Jaya Singh Parmar on Valentine’s Day. But there is a twist in their love tale as the 32-year-old Junaid married his transgender girlfriend. Defying all odds, the couple got married according to Hindu traditions at a temple and now they are planning for a nikah wedding ceremony. The duo has been into a relationship for over a year and Junaid proposed Jaya 15 days ago. They decided mutually to get married on the day of love in the presence of close friends and family members. However, Junaid’s family is against this relationship and have not accepted their marriage. He is trying to convince his family to accept her as a part of the family. Talking to ANI, Jaya expressed her joy and said, “For a transgender, marriage is unthinkable in this country. His parents were against this marriage but he still chose to marry me. Junaid too talked about their wedding and said, “I want my family to accept us but even if they don’t, I will stay with her. I love her a lot and I will always keep her happy.”
According to their friend present at the wedding, the couple met last year in Patalpani, near Indore. After being friends for a while, they fell in love with each other and finally decided to get married to each other.
