Billionaire Gautam Adani was a proud dad as his younger son Jeet Adani announced that he will donate Rs 10 lakh each to 500 differently-abled brides ever year. Jeet Adani and his fiancee Diva Jaimin Shah, who are set to tie the knot at a private ceremony in Ahmedabad on Friday (February 7), announced the initiative after meeting 21 differently-abled brides and their husbands, according to reports.
In a post on X. Gautam Adani expressed “immense joy” over his so and future daughter-in-law’s philanthropic pledge, saying that their ‘Mangal Seva’ will bring happiness, peace and respect to 500 disabled daughters and their families each year.
“It is a matter of immense joy that my son Jeet and daughter-in-law Diva are starting their married life with a holy resolution. Jeet and Diva have pledged to do ‘Mangal Seva’ by providing financial assistance of Rs. 10 lakhs for each sister in the marriage of 500 handicapped sisters every year. As a father, this ‘Mangal Seva’ is a matter of immense satisfaction and good fortune for me,” Gautam Adani wrote in a post on X in Hindi.
“I have full faith that through this sacred effort, the lives of many disabled daughters and their families will move forward with happiness, peace and respect. I pray to the Lord to give Jeet and Diva the blessings and strength to continue moving forward on this path of service,” the Adani Group chairman added.

Jeet Adani is the youngest son of Gautam Adani, who is set to married to his fiancee, Diva Jaimin Shah, the daughter of diamond mogul Jaimin Shah, in an intimate affair in Ahmedabad on February 7.
Jeet Adani, 27, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, joined the Adani Group in 2019, handling the conglomerate’s strategic finance, capital markets, and risk and governance policy, and currently serves as director at Adani Airports.
Last month, Jeet and Divi paid a visit to the Mitti Cafe at the Mumbai airport, and invited its employees to their wedding in Ahmedabad. “Aap humko khilate hain, abhi hum aapko khilate hain (You feed us, now it’s our turn to feed you),” Adani Jr was heard saying in a viral video.
The Cafe employees, overjoyed by the young couple’s kind gesture, presented them with a bouquet of flowers and other gifts, and humbly accepted the invitation.
The Mitti Cafe runs a chain of outlets where people with physical, mental and psychiatric disabilities, especially from economically weaker sections of the society, are employed.
