As Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) made a sweeping victory in Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections 2017, Delhi BJP spokesperson Tajinder Pal S Bagga has sent two bricks to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The bricks were an advance gift to Kejriwal for his performance in the elections. The gift which reeks sarcasm were sent to the Delhi CM after he warned of launching a movement if BJP won in the MCD exit poll results like the exit polls predicted. Bhagga shared screenshots of the order he made on Amazon with pictures of the bricks on Twitter. Kejriwal while addressing a gathering of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) members Kejriwal said “eent se eent baja denge” (demolish something by breaking it to a rubble of bricks). It seems that what Kejriwal meant was that AAP will resort to their techniques. Bhagga also shared screenshots of the order he made on Amazon with pictures of the bricks on Twitter. Kejriwal was heavily criticised for his comments with social media users commenting on his style of defense. A Twitter user wrote, “@ArvindKejriwal threatened riots over Demonetisation too… Now thats the last resort of a loser… ” Another taking a dig at Delhi CM wrote, ” India Get Ready for the Father of All Drama Starring AK & CO. Releasing on 26th April. Advance Bookings Open”. Earlier Bagga had tweeted a video in which Kejriwal was responding to queries. He had tweeted asking, “This is real face of Arrogant Aadmi Party. He is ur minister Delhi. Will you vote for this type of people.” Bagga had claimed that an internal survey conducted by the AAP predicted that BJP will win more than 200 seats out of the 272 in MCD. In the MCD polls, BJP won 128 seats while AAP won 46 and Congress got 28 seats.
