Meet man, no MBA, no degree, he stands at one place, earns in lakhs! how Auto driver doesn't ride for single KM but earns…

When we see stories about people earning lakhs they are usually MBAs or IITians. But today, we are talking about an auto driver from Mumbai who earns lakhs every month without any app, office, or business degree.

According to the post by Rahul Rupani, an autorickshaw driver earns in lakhs per month, without even driving an autorickshaw like other auto drivers.

The U.S. The Embassy is located with heavy security in almost all the countries including India. Without a valid reason or permission entering the premises or even standing outside is also prohibited. However, right outside the gates of the U.S. Consulate in Mumbai, there’s a person earning lakhs every month. This is the story of an auto driver, as reported by ET.

Auto Driver Earns In Lakhs

An auto-rickshaw driver has quietly built an unknown business that gives him Rs 5 to Rs 8 lakh per month. He doesn’t drive his rickshaw a single kilometer but only stands in one place and earns in Lakhs.

Who Are His Customers?

This unique business idea came from a problem faced by people visiting the U.S. Consulate for visa applications. Every day, many people arrive at the consulate, but they encounter a common issue that they’re not allowed to take bags inside. There is no official locker facility nearby. Due to which people struggle to store their essential documents, electronics, or personal items.

This became an opportunity for an auto driver. He identified the need and started a simple yet effective service.

What Does An Auto Driver Do?

The auto driver started offering a temporary storage service for visa applicants’ bags. He parks near the consulate’s entrance and charges Rs 1,000 to securely hold their belongings until their appointment is over. People in a hurry for their visa interview often have no other choice but pay him a small fee rather than missing an appointment.

The auto driver is the first point of contact. But he also uses a locker facility provided by a local police officer nearby.

The officer provides access to a trusted locker facility where the bags are stored by the auto driver.

Auto Driver’s Earnings

On an average day, he handles 20–30 customers and earns Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 per day. This makes his earnings in Lakhs per month.
