Indian wicketkeeper and former India Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni inaugurated the first store of his brand Seven Store Series today in Ranchi, his hometown. ‘Seven’ brand is named after MS Dhoni’s favourite number and birth date and the Indian jersey that he wears is an apparel store focusing on fitness and sports wear and goods. The first store opened in MS Dhoni’s hometown Ranchi in the Indian state of Jharkhand at the Nucleus Mall. Rhiti Sports owner Arun Pandey was also present at the inauguration. MS Dhoni is the brand ambassador and owner of the Seven Store. He took to Instagram and posted a picture of himself amidst Seven products and wrote, “1st store of SEVEN opens at my hometown RANCHI. So much love and affection from the people had to spend some time in the storeroom.” The store will cater to world’s leading sports goods and fitness products. MS Dhoni is currently on a break after a successful tour of West Indies where the Indian side thrashed the West Indies and clinched the trophy. MS Dhoni catapulted to starry heights through his batting, quick as lightening reactions behind the stumps, his exceptional leadership and his cool and calm demeanor on the cricketing field. This is the first store of the brand Seven that has been opened in Ranchi, other stores will soon be opening up in different cities soon. Apart from MS Dhoni, current Indian Cricket Captain Virat Kohli has also launched his own brand called ‘Wrogn’ which caters to apparel and clothing. MS Dhoni is gearing up to launch around 275 showrooms of his brand Seven in different cities by 2020. The store will offer track suits, sports apparel, sporting materials, shoes and other sports related products. During the inauguration Dhoni was so swamped by the love of his fans and followers that he had to take refuge in the storeroom of the shop.
